Tell Me About It!

My book is on the shelves!!!! I saw it today!!! I even took a picture, hehe.

Now I want everyone to get their hands on a copy and read it, and I'll even offer you a good incentive to do so.

Targum and I are putting up a contest.

We're looking for the best review on Invisible Me.

We need readers to write up what they think about the book, why or why not they'd recommend it to others, what age group they think its appropriate for, what they enjoyed most, and of course, anything else they'd like to share about Invisible Me.

The only things you can't include are spoilers about the book. Please don't mention any specific incidents and of course, don't give away the ending!

All entries will be published on Targum's website, and together, my editors and I will choose our favorite one.

The contest is open from December 1, 2009 until January 31, 2010. Please send your entries to my email address, TwinkleBrite AT yahoo.com and don't forget to put REVIEW in the subject line.

Give us a name you'd like your review to be listed under and we'd like your age as well. (If you prefer your name and age not be mentioned, just say so and we'll keep it private, but you'll still need to send it in to be eligible to win.)

Now for the most important part, the PRIZE! Targum has generously offered to give our winner a 30% discount at Targum.com. Depending on how many reviews are submitted and how many excellent ones we'll need to choose from, we might consider runner ups, but for now, this is what you'll be competing for.

Check out Bas~Melech's review of my book to get an idea of what we are looking for. Thank you Bas~Melech for the great regards!

So dear fans- get reading cos I'll be waiting for your reviews!

Anonymous- I by mistake rejected your post instead of publishing it! Sorry!

New Yorkers! The book is HERE!!! I said so in the post! Eichler's had it this morning on a wheelie cart and they were starting to set up the fancy piles!!!

Yay! Can't wait to pick up a copy on my way home today!

Is the 30% discount only for online purchases or also in stores? and is it for 1 purchase, with an expiration date, or forever?

Wahoo!!! So excited for you (and for me lol) that your book is out and on the shelves!! Can't wait to pick up my own copy!!!! :-D

Curious- I believe the 30% is for an online purchase only. It's a one time use and on a complete shopping cart, not just one item.

Thanks for asking, I know readers will want to know.

Oh, and that was your post I rejected before. I just forgot your handle and called you anonymous instead of Curious.

You didn't reject it all! I placed that comment under NEW BOOK and i found it there. Well, I already have my answer. Thanks for being so considerate.

I'm itching to get home and buy that book already!

I was in a book store two nights ago and asked about your book. They said it was still on the boat. I'm so happy to hear that it has finally arrived! Congratulations on publishing your second book!

I got the book yesterday. I must say the cover looks a lot better in real than on picture! I didn't really have time to read it yet but I did read the acknoledgments.(I have a habit of reading books and magazines from back to front since I always know the ending anyways)I just LOVED it! Its original and soo typical you. I hope you atleast got your deserved good nights sleep in the end!

Well Curious- I hope you didnt read the end cos it's really not what people are going to be expecting. Don't think you're so "all knowing" :-P.

No, I never did get that nights sleep. Too busy answering blog comments and fan emails.

Like mine. I think curious is the right name for me since I'm always making you crazy with my questions.

And no, I did not read the end yet. I know you'll never settle for anything but the best so I guess this time it will not be the typical ending I expect.

I really want to read it, but the book store near me doesn't carry it. What were they thinking? Don't know when they're getting it in :(

love the book! said...

just read your new book - twas my chanukah present
I really enjoyed it - thanks. I'm only annoyed that i finished it already. I came back from the store with 2 cranky kids at 4:00 - now it's 10:15 and i'm finished (and that's with menorah lighting, making supper, feeding supper, eating supper, bedtime... ) well, couldn't put it down.
i'll apologize to my kids tomorrow...
ah freilichin Chanukah!
