Chazak Hotline Speech

I just spoke for Chazak Hotline! It was so much fun even though the first three minutes aren't that great because I was nervous. It was weird telling my story to a phone that didn't talk back but when I got up to talk in front of the mirror it started sounding a lot better. :-)

Go have a listen and tell me what you think!

718-258-2008 or 845-356-6665. You need to press #3 to hear "Inspiration for Life's Challenges". Then press #2 for Whatever that option is, and then I'm speech number 55#.

Enjoy!

Wow! Beautiful! It kept me up last night - Ya know my hubby usually listens to the Jewish news via phone before going to sleep so last night I hogged the phone and figured I was so tired, I'd fall right asleep as soon as I finish listening to your story...BUT, I got so carried away with it and gave me so much to think about that I couldn't sleep!!!!! =)

Thanx for the inspiration! Great pointers!

Hi Tzippy
I just finished listening and I must say you are a true our inspiration to me, although I have read the book hearing you talk made me realize how much I have to be grateful for. I think Im gonna start with thanking hashem for all the small kindness he does for me, thanks for your beautiful words.

You did a great job, and you did not sound nervous in the first three minutes! I know this is none of my business, but did you prepare? You did a great job condensing the story and providing the inspiration and some lessons, so I'm wondering if it just comes out of your head that way, or if you worked on structuring it. In any case, thanks so much...I've been wanting to call Chazak for so long, and specifically to hear the stories, and never got around to it until you posted that you're up there...so thanks for your story, and all the others!

Thanks SIS!

- I didn't prepare for the Chazak speech but I've told my story a lot of times so I pretty much know what I want to say and how to say it.

I don't do a lot of prep for any of my speeches in general because I think that I sound better when I'm spontaneous. So I just think of a basic outline or flow and then take it as it goes.

A lot of my speech goes around how the audiences react so that's why I was nervous with the Chazak one.

I listened to your story a while back. It was really amazing to listen to, and very inspirational indeed. I told my friends and family members it's a must to listen. Thanks.
